The essay coach will be responsible for listening to students, hearing their stories, and guiding them in developing college-appropriate essay topics while offering feedback on essay structure, writing style, word choice, and grammar. Essay coaches work directly with students and families, in both one-on-one settings or in small group workshops, as well as on their own schedule, asynchronously. We primarily use Zoom and Google Meets for these meetings.
The college essay coach may take on additional writing and editing responsibilities, including social media management, research and writing on industry trends in higher education, and web content/web development projects.

You can set your own schedule, but we ask that you have some availability in typical “after-school” hours: after 3pm PST on weekdays and on weekends.
