This workshop walks you through the Common App from account setup to submission, with special attention to the sections students most often undersell.

In this workshop, we'll cover:

• How the Common App is structured and what admissions readers actually see on their end

• Setting up your account correctly and adding colleges to your list

• Building an activities list that shows impact, not just participation, within the 150-character limit

• The honors section, additional information section, and when to use each

• Requesting recommendations and coordinating with your counselor and teachers

• Common mistakes that weaken otherwise strong applications and how to avoid them
